My Poems

Deluded

Don’t hurt my eyes, Don’t make them cry.

Nothing is worth these tears of mine.

Don’t lie to my brain, don’t drive it insane

With your beautiful lies. Oh, my!

Don’t sting my hazels with your lies.

Don’t hurt theses ears with my mouth’s cries,

Then curl my lips just with your smile.

My legs shouldn’t want to run a mile.

You hurt my body, tore it apart.

     But hey.

At least you never got to my heart.
